What people usually talk about when they talk about progress:

- change
- ”some kind of outside force that will guarantee the things we desire and wish for are actually going to come about” (Thanks, Timothy Snyder)
- an excuse not to take action
- an expression for ill-defined or undefined goals
- a naive believe in an “invisible hand”
- misplaced trust in the people in power
- artefacts of their business school indoctrination

What people usually don’t talk about when they talk about progress:

-improving the conditions for human and non-human life on this planet
